BMW has made another move in the Technology space with the purchase of Mapillary, a service which takes street-level image data from many sources which then uses software to piece the maps together and come up with mapping data from the imagery. I guess you can think of it as the crowd sourced version of the Google street view cars that used to drive around with the cameras on the roof.
